New Addition to the Family

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Weekend, we sure did (the first part anyway)! Wish we could have been with everyone in Wichita this weekend! David brought home a little surprise on Saturday. We have named her Maggie and she is 12 weeks old. Molly is not sure what to make of her, but is getting used to sharing her toys (only because we force her to). I got the stomach flu yesterday and am just starting to feel better, so David has had to do the babysitting for the new puppy. David starts his new job tomorrow, which he is very excited about. Our first softball game is June 5th, keep your fingers crossed that we don't make fools out of ourselves. We are in full swing of summer here - its in the 70's and only getting warmer! Take care.

Out and About! 5/13/06

Out and about! We decided to take a trip to the river, Molly was so excited! We saw these neat old ovens that were used by the railroads in the 1800's. There were lots of people out on the river, we wanted to do the Kayaking like these guys, but didn't think Molly would want to go on the river. So instead we kept walking around. Other exciting news, David accepted a job offer from the company I work for. He is the new Division Manager for the Masonry Division. He is really excited, plus he gets a company vehicle and gas (and I get to hitch a ride). This is a big step for him, as he gets to run the entire department (hiring, firing, order material, and estimating, etc.). We are trying to figure out what to do for Memorial Day, we are thinking about going camping and renting a raft. Not much else is going on here, hope everyone is doing good.

Spring is Here! 5/3/06

FINALLY - it seems that spring is here. We have had an entire week with the temp above 50. Now its time to start barbqueing and playing outside. Molly and David have started the grill, and hopefully we can go to the river this weekend, maybe even start our first fishing excursion.
